ABOUT US
Develop Philippines, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that collects and ships books and school supplies in balikbayan boxes to schools and libraries in the Philippines.
Develop Philippines, Inc. was established in February 2016 and spearheaded by Raylene Ravarra and Glen Thomas after personally visiting the Philippines. We were shocked when we saw with our own two eyes how the schools in local barangays struggle with the meager school supplies
and educational materials available for the students. This is what inspired us to start a campaign of collecting donated school supplies and books that we can send to the schools in the country.
We decided to launch Develop Philippines, Inc. with the hopes of giving the much needed support to the functioning school libraries in the Philippines. Our main goal is to create a significant improvement in the literacy of the Filipino students and bring changes in their lives in our own simple way.
